Sure Start...
Sure Start is the Government's programme to deliver the best start in life for every child by bringing together early education, childcare, health and family support.
By 2010, there will be 3500 children's centres, so that every family has easy access to high-quality integrated services in their community and the benefits of Sure Start can be felt nationwide.
When a client uses the Sure Start funded CAB sessions, they are able to access advice and information on any subject.
CABs provide holistic advice, in that we consider the whole situation, not just the presenting problem. This can cover, benefits, consumer, education, debt, health, housing, legal, tax, etc. It is often dealing with the issues behind the problem that will eventually bring about a resolution. Helping a client to apply for benefits is only a small part of what we do.
Our Sure Start funded sessions are only for parents and carers of children under 5 or mums and dads to be.

Tuesday 1pm - 4pm
